Thermal conductivity level:
The higher this number, the better suited it is at dissipating heat away from components with increased efficiency. You need to choose between copper or aluminum based on factors such as cost effectiveness, weight limitations (copper conducts heat ten times faster than metal), reliability standards (aluminum has twice the strength of copper but both metals are more durable than silicon), and resistance to corrosion.

This is the type of system that attaches your cpu heatsink to your computer case for extra stability. This can be done with screws or a clip mechanism which will vary in terms of ease of use, size limits, purchase price point, installation time (screws take more time but you have better placement control), and effectiveness at preventing wobbling from cpu fan vibrations on top of cpu heatsinks.
Cpu cooling fans:
Having an efficient cpu cooler means nothing if it’s not paired with adequate air flow! You should make sure that any cpu coolers you’re considering has one or two good quality 120mm fans because these are most suited for average sized cases where there may not be a lot of extra cpu cooler real estate.
Cpu cooling fan placement:
Cpu fans should be placed on top of the cpu heatsink to maximize airflow and aid in heat dissipation. Densely packed computer cases may require you to place the cpu fan onto different parts of your computer case, such as a side panel or even back by an exhaust port (it’s important that it is still pointed towards your cpu).
Cpu air pressure:
This refers to how much force generated from compressed gas flows into the center intake section of your pc case through its ports under high pressure before being pushed outwards for optimal thermal performance. The hotter your processor gets, the more coolers will need increasing levels of air pressure which means either having a thin cpu heatsink or cpu cooler with lots of fans.
Cpu cooling liquid:
This is the type of cpu cooler you would use if your computer case has a built in water cooling system that requires expansion tanks, external pumps, and tubing to connect it all together.
